It’s the oldest ride at Lagoon and one of very few classic, hand-carved, wooden carousels still running in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"766\" src=\"http:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/carousel198405dn.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6874\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/carousel198405dn.jpg 800w, https:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/carousel198405dn-300x287.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/carousel198405dn-768x735.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>
Riding the goat figure in 1984.
