As of July 22nd, Lagoon’s Turn Of The Century has finally reopened. It had been down for the whole 2024 season. When it still wasn’t open by late May 2025, it seemed it might be gone forever<\/a>. Lagoon made a comment on Facebook saying they “tried to rebuild the internal structure but unfortunately it was unsuccessful” and that they are looking for a new swing ride to replace it with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few weeks later, they responded again to a Facebook user claiming to have seen the ride testing during park hours and Lagoon said they were working on opening dates. Now it’s up and running again with new parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn Of The Century<\/a> opened in 1987 as one of two rides added during the park’s centennial celebration. It last operated in 2023 and was waiting for parts through much of the 2024 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
