Occasionally, the warm, sunny days have coincided with Lagoon&#8217;s weekend-only pre-season operating schedule.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although March 25 was rainy and cold and many rides were closed, there were several visible changes since last fall and new additions in progress. Here&#8217;s what happened in the first few weeks since opening day:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The repainting of the Opera House is now complete<\/li>\n<li>Wild Kingdom&#8217;s train station has been repainted<\/li>\n<li>Grass and other improvements have been added to the kangaroo pen<\/li>\n<li>The Creekside Terrace has finally been finished<\/li>\n<li>Lockers have been placed at Rattlesnake Rapids on the north side of Rattlesnake Grub<\/li>\n<li>A new mural appeared on the building which houses some games and Coca-Cola Plaza<\/li>\n<li>Flying Tigers &amp; Ruka Safari opened on April 8<\/li>\n<li>The annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on April 16<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4859\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4859\" style=\"width: 969px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4859\" src=\"http:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/201704-Easter-by-Shane-Dustman.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"969\" height=\"813\"\/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4859\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Shane Dustman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>A new food stand opened in Pioneer Village on April 22 selling Navajo tacos &amp; funnel cakes<\/li>\n<li>Samurai has received some new paint and was slowly being re-assembled during the first part of April, but has yet to open<\/li>\n<li>Catapult remains closed, so far<\/li>\n<li>The Spider has a new electrical building, but has only been seen testing and not operating<\/li>\n<li>The old ape and the giant rat from Terroride have been placed inside Dracula&#8217;s Castle (and the last scene seems to have been removed)<\/li>\n<li>New north restrooms are still under construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4876\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4876\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4876\" src=\"http:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/201704-new-restrooms.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/201704-new-restrooms.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lagoonhistory.com\/project\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/201704-new-restrooms-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4876\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Progress on the new north restrooms as of April 22.
