Nutcracker announced as Lagoon’s next big attraction

In a special event at Lagoon on Friday, Lagoon spokesperson Julie Freed announced the new attraction for 2026 will be Nutcracker.

It will be the tallest ride on the South Midway and will reach up to 68 mph, second only to the top speed of Cannibal. It will also include a 50-foot tall nutcracker by a metal fabricator in Cincinnati. The Nutcracker will be the first new ride by S & S of Logan, Utah at the park since The Rocket opened in 1999.
