It seems Lagoon is still trying to get their classic Zeirer Wave Swinger up and running again, even a few weeks after they responded to a Facebook comment suggesting it would be replaced. The park commented that they “tried to rebuild the internal structure but unfortunately it was unsuccessful” and that they are looking for a new swing ride to replace it with.
Now in June, they responded again to a Facebook user claiming to have seen the ride testing during park hours. This time Lagoon stated they are working on opening dates.

Turn Of The Century opened in 1987 as one of two rides added during the park’s centennial celebration. It last operated in 2023 and was waiting for parts through much of the 2024 season.

This was one of my rides Ii’m sad to see it go. My favorite memory was being up in the air looking at Lagoon Lake and all the other rides i can see at the park. I hope they can get a replacement ride just like turn of the century. It was one of my favorite rides at Lagoon amusement park. I hope they can bring another ride just like it in some way or similar way.
It sounds like they may be able to save it after all, but if not, these types of rides are still available.
