J3 Grand Prix announced as Lagoon’s new ride for 2027

On Saturday, October 3rd, Lagoon revealed their next ride, J3 Grand Prix, at a special event at Hackenslash stage.

Details include:

  • Planned to open in July 2027
  • Manufactured by Intamin
  • Single rail coaster with two launches
  • First of its kind in the US
  • Top speed of 40 mph
  • Maximum height of 50 ft
  • 10 riders per train, 1 per row

This is similar to the announcement of Nutcracker on October 10th last year. The location of the new ride is no secret. Banners teasing a new attraction have surrounded the former site of Jet Star 2 all season.
